2016 is ALMOST here!

And with it, comes several exciting new Open World games to check out. If you have'nt yet heard of these titles. Now is a good time to start following them. Personally, I'm really excited to try out "horizon: Zero Dawn" & "CRACKDOWN 3" Those games look pretty epic!


#10 - Far Cry Primal  is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is set to be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 23, 2016, and Microsoft Windows in March 2016. The game is set in the Stone Age, and revolves around the story of Takkar, who starts off as an unarmed hunter and rises to become the leader of a tribe.


#9 -  Homefront: The Revolution is an upcoming open world first-person shooter video game developed by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver, and is the sequel to Homefront. The game is set to be released in Q1/Q2 2016 for Linux, Microsoft Windows, OS X, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Homefront: The Revolution takes place four years after the events of the original occupation, following protagonist Ethan Brady as he stages a resistance movement against the army of a Korean invasion in the city of Philadelphia.


#8 - Crackdown 3  is an upcoming sandbox-style third-person shooter video game for Xbox One developed by British developer Reagent Games, a studio led by former Realtime Worlds head and series creator David Jones, and published by Microsoft Studios. Continuing the series 6 years after the release of 2010's Xbox 360 video game Crackdown 2, the game focuses on Microsoft Azure-powered mass scale destruction that enables everything in the game to be destroyed.


#7 -  Mafia III is an upcoming open world third-person action-adventure video game developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games, scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2016. It is the third installment in the Mafia series, and the debut title for Hangar 13. It will be set in the exciting city of New Orleans, La.


#6 - Mirror's Edge Catalyst is an upcoming action-adventure platform video game developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and published by Electronic Arts. It is a reboot of 2008's Mirror's Edge and will revolve around Faith's origin.


#5 -  Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an upcoming role-playing video game, set in the 15th century medieval Kingdom of Bohemia with a focus on historically accurate and realistic content. The game will be a single-player experience with branching quest lines and a highly interactive world encouraging emergent gameplay. Kingdom Come will feature period-accurate armor and clothing, combat techniques, and real-world castles recreated with the assistance of architects and historians.


#4 - No Man's Sky is an upcoming adventure survival video game developed and published by the indie British studio Hello Games. Players are free to explore the entirety of a procedurally generated deterministic open universe, which includes over 18 quintillion (1.8×1019) planets, many with their own set of flora and fauna.[1] By exploring, players will gain information about the planets that they can submit to The Atlas, a universal database that can be shared with other players of the game. Players also gain materials and blueprints to upgrade their character's equipment and purchase a variety of starships, allowing them to travel deeper into the center of the galaxy, or trade with other ships.


#3 - Scalebound is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Microsoft Studios, currently scheduled for release in late 2016 exclusively for Xbox One. In this game, players assume control of Drew, who is accompanied with a dragon called Thuban. Players can use a variety of weapons to defeat enemies, and issuing commands to the dragon, which assists players during battles. Unlike other games developed by PlatinumGames, the game puts more focuses on graphical qualities and the role-playing aspect instead of action.


#2 - Final Fantasy XV  is an upcoming action role-playing video game being developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and currently scheduled for a worldwide release in 2016. It is the fifteenth main installment in the Final Fantasy series, and forms part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis subseries.


#1 - Horizon Zero Dawn  is an upcoming action role-playing video game in development by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 in 2016. It will be the first intellectual property developed by Guerrilla Games since Killzone in 2004 and will be the studio's first attempt in developing a role-playing game.
